Allan Wise
- Leaving Lake Dobson & Dobson Hut, the track follows the left hand side of the lake, till the road is meet in about 20 minutes.
- Follow the road to the ski village. Walk over to the furthest ski tow and then follow it to the top of the ridge. All told, this takes, approximately 40 minutes.
- To the left, across the high moor, is the summit of Mt Mawson. Walk directly to the summit block, 30 minutes.
- The summit is a pile of rocks right at the back of the range. Do not be deceived by the two large piles before the true tippy tippy top.
